The armoured cruiser classes have been included with the battleships as they have all the properties of a battleship usually less armour and firepower but greater speed. They often fought with the battle line. They seem to be the pre-dreadnought eauivalent of the battle cruiser. The type: cruiser or armoured cruiser ship class has been provided to view the armoured cruisers with the traditional cruisers.
